Charity begins at home. Just like here in Western Europe, people in Moldavia who can no longer be taken care of at home, need a place in a well-run home for the elderly. Unfortunately, there are only few of these nursing and housing facilities in Moldavia due to lack of finances and the economic situation of the country.

We are planning and implementing the construction of such a home for the elderly. The planned residential care home will help to cater for the needs of the most vulnerable: the weak, those with disabilities, the elderly and the socially deprived, and should provide for the necessary means that will enable them to live in a dignified manner instead of just barely surviving.

Besides the 30 – 50 spots that the facility offers for the retired and elderly, there will also be education and training opportunities on offer for nursing and care-giving, as well as for the kitchen staff, attendants, janitors, and housekeeping employees.
